How we check

Every badge in our shop comes from a real check. We make the checks ourselves, by hand, in Luna's and Bruno's names.

How a check works

Before a product earns a badge, we get it in our hands. We unpack it, look at it closely and try it out the way it's meant to be used. We also read the care and safety notes that come with it.

Bruno's badge is about fun and toughness. We check:

  • that it does its job, whether that's play, walks, rest or travel;
  • what it's made of, and its safety notes;
  • how it's built: we check the stitching, buckles and fixings by hand;
  • that it matches its size guide;
  • that it's easy to keep clean.

Luna's badge is about design and comfort. We check:

  • the design and the finish, up close;
  • the quality of the materials;
  • comfort for your pet;
  • colours that suit a home.

One badge or two

A product earns each badge separately. One badge is fine, and honest. Our favourites earn both. A product with no badge is still being checked.

What a badge is, and isn't

  • A badge is our own judgement, after a hands-on check.
  • It isn't a lab test or a safety certificate.
  • It makes no health claims.
